It’s no secret boys can be difficult to surprise. Striking a balance between gifting something practical, well priced, but also exciting can be challenging— so we’re sharing our suggestions for gifts that will be sure to last.

Let’s start with the big ticket items…

The Wallet

This is a case by case basis because your guy may already have a perfectly great wallet. But if he doesn’t, start looking, sis! This is a heartfelt gift that symbolizes he’ll have it for quite a while, but not necessarily forever. Luckily for us, most boys opt not to carry designer, meaning you can focus on finding something under-the-radar with high-quality leather. Opt for a simple monogram and versatile color for the optimal balance of high-end but relaxed. Remember that leather only gets better with age and wear!

May We Suggest: Smythson of Bond St. London, Leatherology, Mulberry, Bottega Veneta, and taking a peek at Neiman Marcus.

Alternative Watch Strap

If your boyfriend has a watch, consider functioning it more casually by gifting him an alternative watch band. Rubber, grosgrain, or leather! There are lots of cool options and think of it as providing him with a new weekend or WFH look.

May We Suggest: Bulang & Sons, Everest Bands, Hodinkee, Shinola

Try Handmade… Think needlepoint!

Ahhhhh yes. The age-old craft. Handmade gifts are less transactional, and it’s a nod to the careful consideration that went into undertaking a project by hand. I’ve recently picked up needlepoint, and I’ve never had so much fun working on a long-term project! Whether it’s initials on a baseball hat or a belt symbolizing his favorite hobby or band, a handmade gift is sure to express how much you care— which is really what gift giving is all about. For those who are not artistically inclined, nor made the national needlepoint deadline for Christmas this year, there are plenty of fun needlepoint gifts to buy and give— without the work!

May We Suggest: Smathers & Branson

Daily Wire Subscription

Everyone needs a little more Ben Shapiro in their life— plus it’s the gift that keeps giving (You can use it, too! ) Rumor has it DW is ramping up their content in 2021, alongside the announcement Candace Owens will be joining the team. No better time TC girls, use code DW50 for 50% off.

A Piece for His Place

Curating things to fill an apartment or room with is one of the plus sides to growing up, in my opinion. If y’all have an inside joke over a board game or cards, consider gifting him his very own set. Likewise, coffee table books sit beautifully in any room, and there are a million niche titles to choose from— vintage cars, golf, real estate, skiing, art, musicians, sports, historic places, you name it! Framed posters are a no-fail, too.

May We Suggest: Assouline, teNeues, and Bey-Berk.

Now to the Little Things…

Baseball hat

Whether it’s his favorite team or commemorating the fun vacation y’all took, adding a new baseball hat into your boyfriend’s rotation will likely be much appreciated.

May We Suggest: Smathers & Branson, Camp High, Boast USA, The official Donald J. Trump Store

A Friendship bracelet of sorts…

Whether you take a nod from your childhood and whip together a homemade friendship bracelet in his favorite colors, or you opt for a cool braided or enamel piece, a bracelet is a fun way to up your boyfriend's style with little pressure!

May We Suggest: Roxanne Assoulin, David Yurman, and scrolling Neiman Marcus

The new book he’s been talking about

Nothing cuter than a vivacious reader! Surprise him with a new title.

A heartfelt letter

There’s nothing better than putting your gratitude in words. After all, this holiday season should call on us all to give thanks for those in our lives, and if you're at a loss for what’s appropriate, a heartfelt letter may do the trick, and accompany whatever you give this holiday season.
