With several states fully reopened and the country getting back on its feet in time for summer, it's time to talk fragrance. As Americans saw the workplace turn to zoom and gatherings turn into strange, socially distanced events, perfumes were largely out of focus for the past year. We're here to change that. Perfume is far from necessary but definitely helps you make a great first impression and present yourself as clean and put together. A good perfume goes miles.

However, if you're like us, buying perfume is arguably the most overwhelming shopping experience out there. There are literally thousands of scents to choose from, all in eye-catching packaging with alluring marketing campaigns. We've all gone into a fragrance department at a department store looking for a simple perfume, only to come out 3 hours later nose-deaf and annoyed at the pushy salespeople.

Luckily, the team at TC is here to help you with some of our favorites. Whether you're at work, at a club, running errands, or on the beach, it always pays to smell good.

Miss Dior (Brytin’s Choice)

The bottle drew me in initially but I love how versatile this perfume is no matter when I need it. Floral-centric perfumes are usually not my favorite, but this one is perfect!

Chloe Rose (Caroline’s Choice)

This fragrance just smells like garden romance. The rose notes are subtle and uplifting, not stifling or heavy. I always catch the attention of others when I’m wearing it. It gives off a lovely, magical aura that makes you feel as if you’ve been transported to a Jane Austen novel.

Jo Malone Peony and Blush Suede (Isabelle’s Choice)

I love this scent because it’s taken me through my younger years, nights out in college, and now into my young professional life! It’s appropriate, not overwhelming, and very girly— and a bottle typically lasts me a full calendar year! I get tons of compliments.

Monique Lhullier Eau de Perfume (Hope’s Choice)

This lesser-known scent is fresh and floral, and a best kept secret of mine that I’m excited to share. Even though it was created by a bridal designer, it’s such a sweet perfume that is perfect for everyday... or for your big day

Chanel No. 5 ( Brittany & Anabella’s Choice)

A timeless classic that feels luxurious, iconic, and beautiful. Many old Hollywood stars were famously featured in promos for this perfume. May seem basic and stereotypically for older women, but it’s well known for a reason! In the words of America’s Hollywood star Ms. Monroe, “Why, Chanel № 5, of course!”

Jo Malone Myrrh & Tonka (Jen’s Choice)

This fragrance is wonderful for the winter and fall months — and it lasts forever! I love getting hints of it throughout the day. It’s a great blend of masculine and feminine, and very unique.

Tom Ford Soleil Blanc (Mckenzie’s Choice)

This is my official scent for this summer. Reminds me of vanilla and days spent tanning on the beach.
