Tiffany Trump’s Mar-a-Lago Marriage

Tiffany Trump married Michael Boulos at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida this weekend. The highly anticipated occasion gave us the chance to indulge again in the glamour of the Trump White House again at long last.

After three years of dating, Boulos famously proposed to Trump in the White House Rose Garden in January 2021, with a 13-carat emerald cut diamond, no less. While photos circulated from Tiffany’s bridal shower earlier this month, nothing could have prepared the public for this utmost glamorous American-Lebanese celebration.

On her big day, Tiffany wore two gowns by Lebanese designer Elie Saab in an homage to her husband’s culture. Saab additionally designed dresses for the mother of the bride, Marla Maples, and the maid of honor — Tiffany’s half sister Ivanka Trump. These dresses, lilac and powder blue respectively, perfectly complimented the pastel rhododendron-covered arches that decorated the aisle leading up to the ceremony. It’s of note that Ivanka’s dress is a recreation of Grace Kelley’s iconic gown in To Catch a Thief (1995).

The bride dazzled in a glittering long-sleeve ball gown accessorized with drop earrings and old Hollywood-inspired tresses. She kept her hair styling simple, drawing attention to the intricacy of the dress’s detailing.

For the reception, Tiffany changed into a stunning off-the-shoulder Grecian gown, paired with a diamond statement necklace and a half-up-half-down hairstyle.

It’s refreshing to see a classical wedding absent of provocative outfits and woke posturing. Today’s “celebutantes” and influencers, most of whom push progressivism, normalize vulgarity and desensitize us to social taboos. Kendall Jenner’s infamous wedding guest outfit is a perfect example of how our taste-makers behave. We’re bombarded with content designed to make us question customs and beauty.

In a world increasingly devoid of the aspirational, Tiffany’s fairytale moment was something to behold. From the ultra-feminine flower-adorned gazebo to Tiffany’s princess gown, the wedding is a reminder that traditional is timeless. The Trump wedding was heavenly, and yet, it brought all who witnessed it back down to Earth. Congratulations to the gorgeous couple!
